Victoria Tertychny is a fiber and textile artist. Her work concentrates on communicating melancholic expressions of love with intricate hand stitching and a limited color palette, often incorporating text. Drawing from Victorian mourning culture and horror films, her work embodies a sense of memorialization.

Victoria Tertychny lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned her BFA in Fibers & Material Studies from Tyler School of Art in 2019 and was awarded the Dean’s Grant for Student Research in the same year. Her work has been shown in various exhibitions locally and she completed her first solo exhibition, Hiraeth, in November 2018. Victoria currently works in Philadelphia in sewing production and maintaining a studio practice.
